This website shares my knowledge and experience in Japanese Metalwork. My daughter has put it together using photos taken by local photographer, Mrs Sweeney.
Over the last 5 years I have created 3 boxes using 3 different techniques. Traditional Mokume-gane, Shakudō and Shibuichi have been incorporated. To do so, I have researched and experimented to overcome many technical difficulties. Wikipedia and Spons Workshop receipts have been a great help. I hope that anyone interested in this topic will get in touch.
Note: This work is not commercially viable. Suiting those who are obsessive – wanting or choosing a challenge.
